The Murad Acne Complex is a complete regimen of acne treatment that includes everything from cleansers to dietary supplements. At the core of the Murad Acne Complex is a three step program which is designed to address every possible problem the skin has in regards to acne. Outside of this three step system are several products that go hand in hand with the base of the three step system. These complimentary products include a spot treatment cream, clarifying mask and dietary supplement.
Step one of the Murad Acne Complex is a gentle clarifying cleanser that has been proven to reduce 99.9% of irritating surface bacteria within one minute of application. Its primary purpose is to cleanse and tone the skin and prepare it for the remaining two steps of the core system. The cleanser also reduces existing acne blemishes in an effort to keep the skin clear and feeling great.
The second step in the system is the exfoliating acne treatment gel. This gel contains salicylic and glycolic acids which help to penetrate the skins pores and consequently flush them clean. The second step is meant to treat and repair the skin even further. One of the biggest complaints about the Murad Acne Complex system is that if you stray from the twice daily regimen than your acne can in some instances actually get worse! Also, while the overall price isn’t nearly as expensive as some of the other acne products on the market, it is necessary to continue to use the system even after your acne has gone away.
